My grandmother was a kind and caring person. She loved talking about birds, although she didn’t know the name of them. She like to just describe each bird she saw. She also loved to talk about her dog. She loved to talk about AJ and LeAnna, and most importantly she was always available to talk to when you were upset. My grandmother will be very much missed and never forgotten.

Marta loved her family. She had a kind heart and I will miss her terribly. We continued to see each other throughout our lives. We talked on the phone often. I spoke to her the night before she passed. We were discussing the love we have for our family. May we all speak kindly and cherish every moment we have with each other. May the memories we have for those whom have gone before us carry us through the hard times. Rest in love Marta. You will be missed. I thank God for making you my cousin.

Best wishes for you all and hope you all find happiness knowing she is now with God and feeling no pain.

I am sorry we did not have more time to get to know one another. You will be missed!

Marta was a special friend. I first met her in our church's Recovery class. She and Alfonso would pick up the Panera bakery goods and get the coffee set up for class. They did such a wonderful job. Those that attended loved the breakfast. Thank you for your servant heart, Marta! Marta also loved to talk about her son, Alfonso. She deeply cared for him. We got to see Alfonso grow up over the years. Marta loved him very much. On a side note- She loved her crispy KFC with dark meat only with potato wedges and mac and cheese. I always appreciated Marta's caring heart and friendship. She told me often how she would pray for my family for various circumstances and for so many other people. She was a prayer warrior. Marta, you will be missed!

My heart broke as I just found out the news about my friend, Marta. She was a thoughtful, loving and amazing woman. Ellen Zimmerman Proverbs 3:5-6 [5] Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. [6] In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
